Littles make Holiday Wishes
|
|
Un-matched Littles and Bigs for a Day from Gamma Beta Phi met at Baker College, Tuesday, December 16, 2003 for a Holiday Party. Children ages 6 to 9 years old received gifts from Santa (anonymous donor) and enjoyed interacting with Bigs for a Day. They made holiday cookies, sang holiday carols, and enjoyed pizza. Gamma Beta Phi (Baker College Honors Society) purchased stocking with goodies inside for the Littles to take home. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Board and Staff are thankful to The Anonymous Donor, Gamma Beta Phi and additional volunteers from Financial Plus Federal Credit Union and Flint Central High School.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint Annual Holiday Party

|
On Thursday, December 4, 2003 Big Brothers and Sister and Little Brothers and Sisters gathered at UAW Local 651 to celebrate the season and each other at the annual Holiday Party. There was great food and fellowship, entertainment from the Flint Central High School and Little Chris Herron. Executive Director, Sylvester Jones, was the master of ceremonies and distributed prizes to the winners of our raffle drawing. The children enjoyed a visit from Santa with a gift. We thank everyone who brought in can goods and those faithful supporters who donated raffle prizes. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday Season.

Un-matched Littles and Bigs for a Day from Delphi Flint East and UAW Local 651 met at Ballenger Park, Monday, December 15 2003 for a Holiday Party. Children ages 9 to 12 years old received gifts from Santa and enjoyed interacting with Bigs for a Day. They made snowman out of candy, sang holiday carols, and feasted on pizza, cookies and ice cream. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Board and Staff are thankful to Delphi Flint East and UAW Local 651 for their generosity.
